Spartan MMA is based in Larnaca, Cyprus and is run by Mark Buchanan and Montana Calligeris.



Mark Buchanan

Mark is best known for his Cage Rage (UKs Answer to UFC) Days in the UK where he had 12 Professional MMA fights in all assocations. Mark was also a coach for Elite MMA in London where taught for many years and helped develop a number of fighters. Now Mark is based in Cyprus and is a well respected coach and former cage fighter.



Montana Calligeris



Montana is also from Londo, now living in Cyprus and is a Black Belt ShoDan in Shotokan Karate and former London & South East England Youth Champion. Montana has moved across the spectrum of Martial Arts including Wu shu Kwan, Shaolin Kung Fu, Tae Kwon Do, Hapkido, Kickboxing, boxing and finally found his fit - Thai Boxing. Montana is assistant coach and will assist Mark with the Stand Up training specialising in Kicks and Technique
